law-minimal oracle
Thanks Sorasue for this invention.
Caution: Large scale oracle would be dangerous.
Problem
Oracle deceiving is huge accident. DAI price disruption causes monetary incident.
11feeds rotation model mitigate it, but also litigability works well for it.
If operator lies on oracle info, he would be litigated to on-chain court and lose collateral. If anyone doesn't confirm the on-chain judge, go off-chain court with digitally signed evidences.
As long as the operator don't wanna lose collateral, or don't wanna be robbed of corp.'s asset, he gotta be enforced via law with minimal manner.
Downside
The appropriate collateral amount is to be max damage of oracle failure. It can be large.
So it's somehow unscalable.
Insight
A module which has larger risk exposure than corp.'s balance won't work.
Risk exposure minimalized design is the key
DAI price feed under 1 operator model
risk exposure per unit time >>> operator's collateral
It won't work
Shareholders don't invest for this fund due to "public good" ish property.
